What's on City of Melbourne

Melbourne's urban forest art and design competition

Thank you for your interest in the Urban Forest Art and Design competition, which is now closed.

The City of Melbourne received many entries - all creative interpretations of Melbourne’s trees and how our future Urban Forest might look.

The four different categories will be judged over the coming weeks and the winners will be announced on Friday 4th November in an event to be held at Town Hall.

Some of the winning and shortlisted entries will be displayed amongst the canopy of our iconic plane trees down Swanston Walk, adjacent to City Square from mid November until Christmas. Shortlisted entries will be displayed as a public exhibition in City Library, 253 Flinders Lane during November and December.

Shortlisted and highly commended entries from the 5’s and under category will be displayed at the Hub@Docklands during November and December.

All entrants will be contacted by the City of Melbourne to notify them of the results of the competition.
