What's on City of Melbourne

Melbourne Chinese Soccer Association

Description

MCSA is a not for profit organization. We offer Melbourne's diverse multicultural communities an opportunity to enjoy this great world game of football in a safe and fun environment.

MCSA has 42 registered teams in 2015 participating in 4 leagues of double round robin competitions – Premier League, Multi-cultural Football Community Champions League (MFCCL), Division 1 Saturday and Division 1 Sunday.

Annually MCSA organizes:

  1. A community round robin tournament in February (near Chinese New Year) with event partner Melbourne City FC;
  2. The ever popular Yamagata (knock out) Cup throughout the season;
  3. A mini Challenge Cup at the end of the season (when resource permits); and
  4. The Melbourne Asian Cup tournament with event partner Melbourne Victory FC where the final is played at AAMI Park or Etihad Stadium.

MCSA now has more than 1000 registered players and associated players participating in the above competitions which are supported by more than 30 referees and assistant referees. All referees are accredited and registered with Football Federation Victoria (FFV).
