  • No fees for authorised disabled & elderly groups who travel in buses (no private cars)
  • Half price fees apply to request by residents for renovations, moving etc (in residential areas)

  • Billing address.
  • Contact phone numbers.
  • Your City of Melbourne customer account number (if applicable. The number can be found on previous invoices).

Activity details.

Please ensure you provide the following details so we can properly assess you application.

Type of activity. This indicates the reason you wish to reserve the parking. This is essential for City of Melbourne to correctly assess your request.
If your activity is not on the list, please select ‘Other’ and provide more information.

Area. This lists all the street segments within the City of Melbourne. Please select the relevant street segment for where you are requesting your reserved parking bay.

Please note, if you require multiple bays over multiple street segments you will need to submit a separate application for each street segment. Alternatively you can also download a copy of the application form and submit this with all street segments listed.

Time(s). These are the times that the reserved parking is actually required, ie. Start time and Finish time. These should be simplified as much as possible. Try to use the whole hour, for example 8am, 9am.

Date(s). These are the dates that the reserved parking is actually required, such as the start and finish dates. If you are only reserving the parking for one day, then the 'date from' and the 'date to' will be the same. If you require the parking for a number of consecutive days then the 'date from' should be the first day and the 'date to' should be the last day.

Street side. This list includes all the possible sides of the road, using north, south, east or west (rather than left or right side). If you are not sure of the direction, check a street directory. If you are reserving parking in the centre road area, use centre north, centre south, centre east or centre west.

Description of location. Use obvious landmarks such as a parking meter number (if available), building number, building name or other obvious landmarks. For example: "In front of 225 Bourke Street", or "In front of the Commonwealth Bank building." Try to keep it short and simple.

Number of spaces. This is the number of bays you wish to book. One bay equals six metres. If you are reserving a parking bay for a truck then you must book a minimum of two bays. For a normal sized bus you will need to book a minimum of three bays.

It is the customer’s responsibility to book the appropriate number of bays. No refunds will be given for incorrect bay calculations.

Registration numbers. This section is not mandatory, but it is helpful to provide the vehicle registration numbers for any vehicles using the spaces on the day. This assists our parking officers to quickly identify which vehicles are allowed to be in the space(s) you have reserved.

Cost. This is the total cost you will be paying.

Permit delivery method. Please indicate how you would like your permit to be delivered to you.
