Citywide Service Solutions operates a Waste and Recycling Centre in Kensington for ratepayers and residents.
Hours
8.30am to 2.45pm, seven days a week
Open all public holidays except Good Friday and Christmas Day

The centre is located at 437 Dynon Road, Kensington (Melway reference 42 G5)
What type of waste is accepted?
The following items can be dropped off at the centre free of charge:
- glass jars and bottles
- hard plastic containers
- steel and aluminium cans
- garden organics
- car batteries
- steel items
- paper and cardboard
- whitegoods
- cork
Tipping fees
Non-recyclable items and household and commercial waste are charged as follows:

- Building materials including bricks, concrete, asphalt and soil
- Tyres and car bodies
- Hazardous or dangerous waste including chemicals and gas cylinders
- Industrial waste
