What's on City of Melbourne

Earth Hour

The City of Melbourne is proud to have participated in Earth Hour 2012.

At 8.30pm on 31 March we joined residents and businesses across the city in turning off non-essential lights at our buildings and facilities.

City of Melbourne programs

The City of Melbourne has a number of programs designed to help you achieve ongoing energy savings both at home and at work.

Energy Saver – it all starts at home

Energy Saver makes it easy and cheap to improve the energy performance of your home by bringing together all of the rebates available from state and federal government.

CitySwitch

The CitySwitch Green Office program is a great way for businesses to improve office energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Workshops, training, support, recognition and networking opportunities are provided by the program.

1200 Buildings

This is an initiative of the City of Melbourne that seeks to catalyse the 'greening' of existing commercial buildings (containing office space) in the municipality of Melbourne.
