Showerhead exchange

The City of Melbourne is working together with the State Government of Victoria to deliver the Showerhead Exchange Program.

You can exchange your old showerhead for a free water efficient model, valued at $34 and save around 13,500 litres of water per person per year.

It's one of the easiest ways to save water and money at the same time in the home.

Where to exchange your showerhead

East Melbourne Library and Community Centre

Library opening hours:
Monday:  10am to 6pm
Tuesday:  1pm to 8pm
Wednesday: 10am to 6pm
Thursday:  10am to 6pm
Friday:  1pm to 6pm
Saturday:  10am to 4pm
Sunday:  2pm to 5pm

Melbourne Town Hall
90-120 Swanston Street, Melbourne

Hours:
Monday to Friday: 7.30am to 5pm

What you need to bring

In order to exchange your showerhead, you will need to do the following:

  • Present your old showerhead and water bill.
  • Complete a survey and permission form.
  • Have the form and water bill sighted by staff.
  • Receive your new showerhead and information.
