Research

CH2 has attracted widespread national and international interest as a model for the future. The CH2 Study and Outreach Program was established during the design phase as a coordinated effort to consolidate the various opportunities for study, research, documentation and promotion.  

CH2 represents a unique chance to not just set an example but to run a program that will lead to a much greater understanding of sustainable design and its benefits.

This program aims to significantly influence the building and related industries and generally raise awareness of sustainable design concepts and opportunities.

AusIndustry Research papers

This project was funded under the Commonwealth Government’s Innovation Access Program: An initiative of Backing Australia’s Ability, the Commonwealth Government’s commitment to Innovation. These studies were completed by a number of academics from three leading Melbourne Universities:  RMIT University Centre for Design, University of Melbourne, and Deakin University.
