It acknowledges that affordable housing has a role in contributing to socially and economically sustainable cities.
Without the stability provided by affordable housing, local households cannot access employment, education, health, transport and other services.

Street Count
Street Count is an initiative by the City of Melbourne to develop a better understanding of people ‘sleeping rough’ in the municipality. It is an annual census of homeless people in the municipality. Find out more about Street Count.
