- monitoring and inspecting businesses to ensure compliance with the Food Act 1984 and the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 legislation
- handling food related complaints
- providing advice for food businesses
- managing noise and odour issues to protect residential amenity
- research and delivery of health promotion programs and strategies
