Available for people who need support to manage basic domestic tasks such as:

  • light cleaning 
  • laundry
  • meal preparation
  • shopping
  • assistance with paying bills
  • attending a health-related appointment

Please note: under normal circumstances this service does not include ironing, dusting or heavy duty tasks.

Personal care

Available for people who need support to manage self-care tasks such as:

  • bathing, showering or sponging 
  • dressing 
  • grooming 
  • getting in and out of bed 
  • using the toilet 
  • eating 
  • monitoring of self-medication

Respite care

Respite care provides support for carers and families by offering them a break from their caring responsibilities. There are different options available which can be discussed during the assessment. 

Property maintenance

Offers help and advice for minor repairs and home maintenance to ensure a safe and secure home environment.. Services available include:

  • minor repairs and home modifications  
  • installation of safety rails  
  • clearing of pathways and trimming of overgrown branches where there are safety concerns 
  • installation of smoke alarms 
  • replacement of light globes and smoke alarm batteries

The home maintenance service does not include any tasks that require qualified tradespeople. For people living in private rental properties or public housing some maintenance tasks may not be available or may require permission from their landlord.

In addition to the fees charged for this service, materials are charged to the client at cost.
