One of the strengths of the Melbourne Awards program is the comprehensive judging process, which is designed to be fair, transparent and independent of the City of Melbourne.
The judging process relies on the generosity of an esteemed panel of 40 honorary judges who are highly experienced and respected in their fields, representing a variety of industry sectors. Entrants meet with members of the judging panel during the judging process which puts them in touch with a wide range of industry leaders and professionals. Once the process is complete judges often become ambassadors for the entrants and their achievements.
- After we have received your submission, you will receive a confirmation letter with detailed information about the judging process. If you are successful in stage one of the judging process, a judging coordinator will contact you to make arrangements for your judging meeting.
- Both the nominee and person who nominated MUST attend the judges meeting. The nominee must be given a copy of the submission before this meeting. In the case of a joint entry, a representative from both companies must attend the judging meeting.
- The judges decisions are final.
