Australian Government ICT Awards 2012

City of Melbourne Maps was one of three projects shortlisted in the Excellence in eGovernment Awards Geospatial category, as part of the 2012 Australian Government ICT Awards.

The project was recognised for unlocking a vast amount of information about the municipality’s services and items of interest that can be accessed at any time by residents, businesses and visitors.

The awards recognise the most outstanding eGovernment projects being carried out by Australian government agencies across all tiers of government.

The City of Melbourne commissioned a Privacy Impact Assessment to ensure the website complies with the Privacy Act. We have reviewed all images displayed on the site and removed any images where either faces or car registration numbers are visible and could be used to identify an individual.

If you are concerned about a photograph of your property, please contact us via our online form and we will arrange for their removal.
