The 2013 Community Services grants program is available to not-for-profit organisations seeking to undertake projects in 2013. The program creates opportunities for our community to join in and enjoy city life and contribute to Melbourne’s safety, health and happiness.
Last year’s Community Services grants program allocated approximately $778,000. Details of projects funded in the past are available online.
Category 5: Community Inclusion Health and Wellbeing
- Open to: not-for-profit organisations
- Grants for: eligible projects that contribute to social equity, inclusion and wellbeing within our community
- Grant value: up to $5,000
Community inclusion, health and wellbeing grants are awarded to projects that strengthen the local community and support organisations in responding to local community needs.
Proposed projects must address one or more of the following themes:
- contribute to social inclusion and social equity
- strengthen the capacity of community organisations
- contribute to residents’ health and wellbeing
- encourage participation in volunteer programs
- foster skills development and training for the community.
Projects may focus on the general City of Melbourne community, but may also focus on vulnerable and marginalised groups, people in unique and special circumstances, disadvantaged people, and people who are experiencing homelessness.
