Susan Riley is the current and twice elected Deputy Lord Mayor of the City of Melbourne.
A businesswoman of some repute, with a career in publishing and the media spanning some 25 years, Susan is highly regarded for her strategic thinking and her ability to distil information with speed and alacrity.
She is a director of two successful publishing companies that produce city-based magazines that are catalysts to engendering business networks and the exchange of information among like-minded business people and residents who have a close affinity with the Melbourne CBD and its surrounds, her successful business networking club is testament to this.
Susan is a strong advocate for small business. She has been involved in the promotion and marketing of CBD businesses for decades.
Susan sits on all City of Melbourne council committees. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Director of Procurement Australia. She is a member of:

As Deputy Lord Mayor, Susan sees her role as being part of a leadership team to bring about a cohesive and effective Council focused on making the City of Melbourne an even more vibrant, liveable, safe and world-renowned city.
Susan is married to Jim Riley with 3 children and 9 grandchildren.
