Ken Ong has been a Melbourne businessman and community volunteer for more than 20 years.
Ken is Chair of the Future Melbourne Planning Committee, and Deputy Chair of Future Melbourne (People and Creative City) and (Finance and Governance) Committees.
He is a Life Member and former President of the Chinese Association of Victoria. Ken was previously Chairperson of the Chinese New Year Festival committee and is the Treasurer of the Australian Chinese Events Committee.
In 2007, Ken was awarded the Lord Mayor's Community Service Award. He has an engineering degree and a Master of Business Administration.
He is married to Lin and has two children, Cassandra and Alexander.
