Carl Jetter was re-elected in the 2008 elections. His association with the City of Melbourne includes being former Deputy Chair of the Melbourne Day Committee and 10 years as President and CEO of the West End Business Association.
Carl is Deputy Chair of the Future Melbourne (Economic Development and Knowledge City) Committee.
Carl is a Board Member of the Australia China Business Council (Victoria) and publisher of Australia China Connections magazine and online business. He is also actively involved in the broader Australia China business environment.
Carl’s background is in marketing and management. He has served as a management consultant to the Australian Industry Group, Australian Retailers Association (Victoria), Melbourne City Business Network Centre and the Victorian Restaurant and Catering Association. He is also the former proprietor of Granny’s Place Restaurant and founding publisher of Inside Dining magazine.
